The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), the main constituent party of the ruling People’s Alliance has decided to appoint Minister Maithripala Sirisena as the Acting Secretary after unanimously deciding to suspend Mr. S.B. Dissanayake from the party’s post of Chief Secretary. The decisions were made at a special meeting of the Central Committee of the SLFP, Monday.
