The Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. and David Pieris Motor Company Ltd. (DPMC) have launched SERVO, India’s No: 1 lubricant in Sri Lanka. David Pieris Motor Company Ltd. (DPMC) which represents several popular automobile houses including Ford, Bajaj Auto and Escort is the largest automobile distributor in Sri Lanka for two wheelers, cars, vans and tractors. A DPMC spokesman said that with their 300-dealer network they would be able to sell SERVO lubricants in every nook and corner of Sri Lanka. In discussions with IOC officials, Chairman, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Anil J. Obeyesekera has expressed interest in strengthening cooperation between the two companies particularly in the areas of refining, downstream marketing, storage terminals, training and consultancy.
