The Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) announced Friday that Dilmah Tea, a leading Sri Lankan tea exporter had been awarded the sponsorship of Sri Lanka’s national cricket team for the next three years. The Sponsorship is at a price tag of USD 3.3 million and will include using the Dilmah Logo on all official team clothing. The Sri Lankan team will take the field in the new attire for the first time in Sharjah on October 26, for the triangular series with Pakistan and Zimbabwe. Singer Sri Lanka Ltd, a leading global electronics manufacturer, held the team sponsorship rights for the last six years.
