John Keels Holdings [JKH] has been named as Sri Lanka’s premier blue chip Company among the world’s best 200 small international companies, by America’s prestigious business magazine, ‘Forbes Global’. JKH is first Sri Lankan Company to be so recognised by a global magazine such as ‘Forbes’ and have done it for the second year running. The companies that have less than $500 million in sales in the most recent fiscal reporting period are included in to the 200 best small international companies category. “Cutting down to 200 of the very best is no easy task. Many of the companies listed here passed rigorous screens for profitability, earnings and sales growth,” said the news report by the ‘Forbes Global’. “This achievement wouldn’t have been possible if not for the quality and the commitment of all our employees,” said the Chairman [JKH], Vivendra Lintotawela. John Keels Holdings [JKH] is the largest capitalised company on the Colombo Stock Exchange and possibly the most diversified, with extensive interests. The JKH as the largest capitalised company has expanded in the areas of Food & Beverages, Hotel Trade, IT, Transportation, Financial Services, Plantation and Export Trade and it is the only local company to be admitted as a full member of the World Economic Forum. John Keels Holdings is also the only Sri Lankan Company, to have obtained a SLAAA rating from Fitch Ratings Lanka Limited.
