Special programme to provide housing for the employed

The " Workers’ Housing Concept" (Kamkaru Nivasa) will be implemented by the Government in February under a special program initiated by the Employment and Labour Ministry.

The initial target is for 10,000 houses to be constructed countrywide during the first phase of the program. 

The government plans to implement a National Employment Policy (NEP) before the end of this month under the Government's 100-day development program. 

"Job Markets" are also expected to be conducted in every district with the participation of the owners of large, medium and small-scale enterprises.
