Civilian movement to the Vanni will be allowed on all weekdays i.e. Monday to Friday. Earlier civilian traffic was permitted only on two days of the week. A Ministry of Rehabilitation press communiqué states a ten-day pass would be issued for those who wish to travel to the area. “This pass could be utilized for return journey” press release added.
