Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe has sent a congratulatory message to Sri Lanka’s veteran off spinner Muttaiah Muralitharan on reaching the landmark of 400 Test wickets. “Muralitharan’s achievement is not only a personal victory for him but a victory for all Sri Lankans”, Premier said in his message. Prime Minister said that it also exemplifies Sri Lanka’s identity as a nation while all Sri Lankans join him in congratulating Muralitharan and wishing him well.
