During the six-day visit the delegation is to have one to one business meetings with their Sri Lankan counterparts with the view of increasing the commercial, tourism and cultural ties between the two countries. Two internationally acclaimed French chefs from Lyon are scheduled to hold a French gastronomic week at the Trans Asia Hotel as part of the programme. The delegation, led by M Francois Turcas, the President of the Confederation of Small and Medium Industries of the Rhine-Alpes region in France, will be in Sri Lanka from February 9 to 15. The visit has been organised by the Franco-Sri Lanka Business Council [FSLBC] with the Chamber of Commerce [CCC], The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka [BOI], Sri Lankan Airlines, Sri Lanka Tourist Board, the European Business Information Centre [EBIC] and the Trans Asia Hotel.
