Top Indian cottons on show in Colombo

Top Indian cotton textile manufacturing companies will take part at the “Indian Cotton Textile Show 2002” due to held at Hotel Taj Samudra in Colombo from February 12 to 14.

The joint venture of Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka and the Cotton Textile Promotion Council of India will provide an excellent opportunity for local garment exporters to familiarise themselves with the high quality, competitive price and wide range of cotton products that India has to offer.

India is today the second largest supplier of cotton textiles enjoying 14% share in the world market. It has emerged as one of the top ten suppliers of processed and grey fabric and holds the number one and number two positions in cotton yarn and cotton products in the global market.
