Salvation Army World Head to visit Sri Lanka

The World Head of the Salvation Army, General John Dowans, will be in Sri Lanka on a five-day official visit from March 1.

A spokesperson for the Salvation Army said that this visit would be his first to Sri Lanka since his election as the sixteenth General of the Salvation Army in May 1999. His wife Commissioner Gisèle Gowans will also join him on this visit.

He is due to attend a special function at ‘Ranpokuna’ in Kegalle.
