Parliament debates MOU

The two-day Parliamentary Debate on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the government and the LTTE began this morning.

The debate is in response to a request made by Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapakse to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe.

“The debate began today with the ‘Ministerial Statement’ by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe,” Dhammika Kitulgoda, Secretary General of Parliament said.
