Global wind power giant to visit Sri Lanka
[March 7, 2002 - 10.00 GMT]

A group of representatives from the Denmark-based global leader in wind energy systems, NEG Micon, will be in Sri Lanka next week to explore the business potential.

The mission plans to address the increasing energy requirements in Sri Lanka and to reduce pollution by developing reliable and efficient wind energy systems.

The Ambassador for Denmark to India and Sri Lanka in partnership with the European Chamber of Sri Lanka has organised the mission to Sri Lanka.
