The train services to the Eastern city of Valachchenai resumed after a lapse of six years on Monday. The first night-mail train arrived in Valachchenai Tuesday morning, a Colombo Fort Railway Station source confirmed. According to the present schedule a regular train in the morning and a night-mail will depart daily from Fort Railway Station, Colombo.
