Asian Games Gold for Susanthika

Susanthika Jayasinghe won the women's 100m with a new games record (11.15 seconds) at the 14^th Asian Games in Busan today. Perepelova Lyubov of Uzbekistan came second while Qin Wangping of the People’s Republic of China was placed third.

Sri Lanka's only female Olympic medallist will now be focusing on the 200m event to be worked off on Wednesday.
