Norwegian delegation arrives in Colombo on Sunday

A Royal Norwegian Embassy source said today, a Norwegian delegation headed by Undersecretary of State Vidar Helgesen will arrive in Colombo on Sunday, for talks with the Government and LTTE leaders.

Mr. Helgesen will call on President Chandrika Kumaratunga on October 23.

“The discussions with the Government and the LTTE will focus mainly on the establishment of the Joint Task Force (JTF) and the preparation for the next round of talks in Thailand,” Norwegian Embassy said.
