Air Force plane crashes at Kuliyapitiya

A Sri Lanka Air Force Kfir aircraft crashed at Kuliyapitiya this morning.

“It was a training flight and the pilot had reported a technical error before he ejected,” Air Force spokesman Wing Commander W. M. A. R. Wijesundara said.

The pilot who was admitted to the Katunayake Air Force hospital was reported to be out of danger.
