‘SriLankan’ flights to Kuwait resume tomorrow

Sri Lankan National carrier said today it will resume operations to Kuwait from tomorrow, 26 March 2003.

Flights were temporarily on hold with the outbreak of war in Iraq.

“The situation is now conducive to our resuming operations,” said G. T. Jeyaseelan, SriLankan Airline’s Head of Commercial. He added however “Flights to Kuwait are subject to review based on any developments in the Middle East.”

“The situation is being monitored on a 24-hour basis to ensure the safety of our passengers and crew,” he said.
