Tennis
training for the physically challenged launched in Colombo

The
International Tennis Federation’s (ITF) Wheelchair Tennis Silver Fund
launched a two-month program at the SLTA Colombo last Thursday to develop
the sport, making Sri Lanka the first beneficiary of the Fund.
The
program began with the visit of Kathy Fahim an expert from Australia. The
Sri Lankan project will be financed by the ITF’s
Wheelchair Tennis Silver Fund set up last month to mark its 25th
anniversary.
Sri
Lanka Army initiated wheelchair tennis in Sri Lanka.
