Pakistan’s
Foreign Minister Khurshid M. Kasuri is on tour of the SAARC nations and is
due in Colombo later this week. Minister Kasuri is expected to deliver the
formal invitation from President Pervez Musharaaf to President Chandrika
Kumaratunga for the 12th SAARC Summit in Islamabad.
The 12th
SAARC Summit, which was scheduled for January this year, will now be held
early January next year.
The
Pakistani Foreign Minister is due to hold talks with President Chandrika
Kumaratunga and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe during his three-day
visit, September 13-15.
