Chairmanship of IOR-ARC for Sri Lankan FM

Foreign Minister Tyronne Fernando will take over the Chairmanship of IOR-ARC, the Indian Ocean Rim Association for Regional Cooperation at its meeting in Colombo, October 12.

At a meeting in New York last week the current chairman the FM of Oman, the FMs of Australia, South Africa, India, Iran, Mozambique, Mauritius, Tanzania, the UAE Yemen, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Bangladesh confirmed their participation at the Colombo meeting.

The Indian Ocean Rim Business Group and Academic Group will also meet in Colombo.
