President to meet Norwegian facilitators tomorrow

President Kumaratunga will meet with Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister Vidar Helgessen and special envoy Erik Solheim tomorrow, Wednesday November 12, at President’s House Colombo.

Helgessen in Sri Lanka from 10 to 13 November is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today. He will also to hold meetings with Leader of the Opposition Mahinda Rajapakse, Minister of Muslim Affairs Rauff Hakeem, former Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar and representatives of the Tamil National Alliance.

The Norwegian Deputy FM will also meet with different civil society groups and representatives from international donor agencies.

On Thursday November 13, Minister Helgessen will travel to Killinochchi.
