Secretary to the President leads government delegation to Germany

A 16-member delegation of state and private sector professionals, headed by the Secretary to the President W.J.S. Karunaratne left for Germany today.

The delegation will attend a seminar on Decentralization and Human Resources Development from 11-19 December in Mannheim. Organized by the German Foundation for International Development the workshop is targeted at decision makers from the public and private sector. 

The Sri Lankan delegation is made up of Ministry Secretaries and departmental Heads and the private sector executives from the hospitality industry.

The Capacity Building International is an organization for international human resources development, advanced training and dialogue. This workshop is being made possible by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
