Sri Lanka online for prospective visitors

The Sri Lanka Tourism Tuesday, February 24 launched its new website www.srilankatourism.org, in a bid to target the global tourism market with online information greater than before.

The new website provides statistics, travel tips, information on hotels, and best sites to visit in addition to updates on the latest news from Sri Lanka. It also provides hyperlinks to other related organizations. 

Sri Lanka Tourist Board’s Director General S. Kalaiselvam said the new website would allow the industry to ‘go beyond borders’ and streamline the entire business process.

The website is expected to facilitate online booking and provide greater accessibility in several languages in near future.
