Govt spokesman Minister Mangala Samaraweera during his weekly media briefing today said there are no disputes within the ruling Alliance, further he said the President will consult all constituent parties of the UPFA on matters of national interest. Asked about the President’s decision to resign as Alliance leader Samaraweera said she wishes to spend quality time on various aspects of governance. Commenting on the developments of the peace process the spokesman said that the Government will be flexible and that it also expects the LTTE to reciprocate. Samaraweera said that Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) will soon join the ruling party and that the CWC has already come to an agreement with the Government at provincial level.
