The ceremonial inauguration of the rebuilding of Dahasak Maha Wev (thousand tanks) project was held at Yapahuwa today. Under Dahasak Maha Wev project, 10,000 irrigation tanks will renovated throughout the country within the next four years. Of them, 1,000 tanks will be restored by the end of this year
