New Fisheries Secretary appointed

President Chandrika Kumaratunga today appointed Mr. E. Jinadasa, a senior officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service as Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.

Mr. Jinadasa has been in public service since 1973 and has served in several areas of the country. He was Commissioner of Motor Traffic till 2002 and was the serving Controller of Immigration and Emigration before his appointment as Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources.
