Victims of ethnic strife given more time to claim compensation
[February 15, 2005 - 10.00 GMT] 

Due to the difficulties face by people in the tsunami affected areas, the closing date of receiving applications claiming compensation by victims of ethnic violence during the period 1981- 1984 has been extended till February 28, 2005.

Applications as per the format published in the newspapers: Dinamina, Daily News, Thinakaran, Virakesari, Thinakkural and Udayan of December 17, 2004 may be submitted to,
