Following the series of explosions in London on Thursday 7th July, the Sri Lanka High Commission in London has been making inquiries to determine if there have been any Sri Lankan casualties. Authorities in the United Kingdom have not confirmed any such cases.

The High Commission will extend every assistance to Sri Lankans who wish to make inquires about the safety of family members now in London. The High Commission has set up a 'Helpline' specifically to handle inquiries from concerned Sri Lankans.

The two ‘helpline’ telephone numbers are;

0044 2072621841 and 0044 2072620875
