New Minister of
Agriculture

President Chandrika Kumaratunga today [27th July]
appointed Mr. Ratnasiri Wickremanayake as Minister of Agriculture.
A former Prime
Minister and a senior member of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Mr.
Wickremanayake now holds the portfolios of Public Security, Law &
Order and Buddhasasana and is also Deputy Minister of Defence.
