The Government will discuss with members of the All Party Conference summoned by President Mahinda Rajapaksa and keep them informed of new developments before the agreed meeting between the Government and LTTE at Geneva.

Information and Media Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa said the President will meet all political parties and brief them of the new developments before the talks on the Ceasefire to be held at Geneva. He said this at the weekly Cabinet media briefing yesterday (26).

The important issues to be addressed at the Geneva talks and the composition of the Government delegation to the talks were expected to be taken up at this meeting and it was necessary to set a specific date for the Geneva meeting, Minister Yapa said.
