India welcomes talks between Govt and
LTTE

India
welcomed the talks between the Government and the LTTE held in Geneva
last month, the Indian Foreign Ministry said yesterday.
In a
statement the Ministry said, "We are also happy to note that both sides
have renewed their commitment to respecting and upholding the Ceasefire
Agreement."
The
Indian Government further urged both sides to continue the political
dialogue and welcomed the announcement of another round of talks to take
place in April, between the two parties.
