The Export Development Board (EDB) will organise a trade fair in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dubai to promote professional services in the third quarter of this year. According to sources, a recent market study done in the UAE indicates that there is a huge demand for professionals such as Architects, Quantity Surveyors and Civil Engineers in the construction industry. The EDB expects to organise one – to – one business meetings with potential clients. It will also organise a Sri Lankan professional week in UK targeting professional services in the accounting and legal sector.
