President hosts 6th APC to discuss current situation in country [Saturday, August 05, 2006-7.30 GMT]

President Mahinda Rajajpaksa yesterday (4th) chaired the sixth All Party Conference at the Presidential Secretariat, Colombo.

In his welcome address the President said he called the APC due to the current situation in the country. He said the Mawilaru anicut problem and the tensions that have developed in Muttur during the past few days were the topics on the agenda.
