Bomb explosion in
Colombo

A
bomb explosion took place at Milagiriya in Bambalapitiya at 2.50 p.m. today.
Mr. Sivadasan of the EPDP who was injured in the explosion has been
admitted to hospital.
His driver was injured while one bodyguard died. Three others in the van
also died.
The incident occurred near St. Pauls Milagiriya, a leading girls' school
in Colombo. According to sources an explosive hit the van Mr.
Sivadasan was traveling in. Investigations are still underway.
