Reports circulated by pro-LTTE media regarding the killing of at least 61 schoolgirls and the injuring of around a 100 others are “complete fabrications” says Major Rajapaksa of the Centre for National Security. He said the Air Force conducts identified, precision bombing and that it was an LTTE training base that was destroyed due to the aerial bombing. He said the target had been identified by the Forces as a LTTE training base.
