Government reviews NGO visas [Thursday, October 05, 2006- 10.45 GMT]

The Government has reviewed the work visas of certain members of the following non-government organizations in view of the continuing Police investigations into allegations of inappropriate behaviour. 

          1.       Medicines Sans Frontieres, France

          2.       Medicines Sans Frontieres, Spain

          3.       Medicos Del Mundo

          4.       Doctors of the World

According to a Peace Secretariat release the visas of these organizations will remain valid, until such time that investigations are completed.
