Sri Lanka concerned over North Korea nuclear test

As a party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Sri Lanka is seriously concerned over the reported nuclear test conducted by DPRK, the Foreign Ministry said yesterday in a release.  

“We express the hope that the issue will be resolved through diplomatic means. We are watching the developments including UN Security Council deliberations on this issue”, it said.
