The Media Centre for National Security reports that a claymore mine was found hidden under a garbage dump near the 9th post along the Mahara, Kadawatha road around 9.15 a.m. today. It was found on information received from a civilian. The Army Bomb Disposal team had defused the claymore mine and the Kadawatha Police is conducing investigations.
