Sri Lankan to operate additional flights to India

Sri Lankan Airlines has granted additional flights to several Indian destinations. The objective of this new facility is to strengthen the presence of the airline in the civil aviation map of India. 

The Airline already operates the largest number of flights to India, with permission to operate daily flights to six Indian metropolitan cities and unlimited frequencies to 18 tourist destinations in India. 

With effect from winter 2008 Sri Lankan will operate seven additional weekly flights to Mumbai and seven additional flights to Bangalore. Seven additional weekly flights to Coimbatore and Pune have also been allowed.
