Killaly FDL comes under LTTE mortar fire

The LTTE has last evening fired mortar and artillery towards the Killaly Forward Defence Line (FDL) injuring four soldiers.

The injured were rushed to the Palaly Hospital, while troops retaliated.

Meanwhile according to the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS) two civilians were shot dead by the LTTE pistol gang. Ravi Sanjeewan (15) and Kangarupan Kelli (21) were shot in the area of Anaipanthy last evening.

The incident was reported to the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM), while Jaffna Police are conducting investigations.
