“UDAYAN” police guard attacked

A police constable guarding the "Udayan" newspaper office in Jaffna has been injured after being shot at earlier.

The Media Centre of National Security (MCNS) says the shooting was done by the LTTE. The victim has been admitted to the Jaffna hospital.

The office of the "UDAYAN" newspaper of Kasturiya Road, Jaffna has been under constant threat from the LTTE, states the MCNS.
