Two
youths abducted at Puttalam [Thursday,
December 28, 2006 - 7.30 GMT]
An armed group that broke into People's
Liberation Organization of Tamil Elam (PLOTE) Party office situated at
3rd Cross Street in Puttalam at 8. 00 p.m. yesterday has abducted two
PLOTE members.
This armed group who had come in a van has threatened the occupants of
the premises and abducted the two youths named Karikalan and Pathyarasa.
The Puttalam Police is making further inquiries to apprehend the
abductors and
according to available evidence it has been confirmed that the armed
group are LTTE members, states Army Media Centre.
