Terrorists kill 2 civilians in
Mahindapura [Wednesday,
January 10, 2007 - 8.30 GMT]
An LTTE mortar attack this morning (January 10) targeting villages of
Mahindapura and Thanganagar in Trincomalee district killed two persons
in Mahindapura and injured nine persons, says Media Centre for National
Security (MCNS).
MCNS further said that this terrorist attack on Thanganagar and
Mahindapura has caused damage to several houses and 141 members of 40
families have
sought relief in government controlled areas.
