Air raid on identified LTTE targets at Morawewa

In an air raid using MI 24 helicopters at a spot where terrorists were gathering at Morawewa in the Trincomalee district this morning, pilots of the Air Force confirm heavy damage to the terrorists, says the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS).     

Also two terrorists are reported dead and two injured in counter attacks aimed by security forces when they tried to enter the High Security Zone at Muhamalai attacking the Forward Defence Line yesterday afternoon.    

The MCNS says that later yesterday terrorists attacked Nagarkovil FDL also and one terrorist has died in counter attacks.
