Youth shot dead

On Monday February 12 at about 10.45 a.m. LTTE terrorists shot dead a 31 year old youth R.M. Sisira Kumara at Padaviya, Anuradhapura, says the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS).
  
Meanwhile, the security forces were able to recover a large haul of weapons and other goods belonging to LTTE terrorists during search operations in Kaddamuravikulam, Mutuwaram and Kadirveli in Trincomalee n. The MCNS says that the recovered items included 8 numbers of 60mm mortar shells, 5 RPG shells, a T56 weapon, 4 magazines with live bullets, a generator, 2 solar panels, a hand tractor and a bicycle.
