The United States will soon begin special defence operations in its territorial seas to prevent the LTTE operating in that area in association with arms and drug dealers, said Chief of US Naval Operations Admiral Mike G. Mulan in an interview given in New Delhi recently. He also said that LTTE links with the Al – Qaeda have been revealed and it poses a worldwide threat.
