No clean chit to LTTE – CPI (M)

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has flayed some political parties for their attempts to give a clean chit to the LTTE in the recent attacks on and abduction of Tamil Nadu fishermen, said a news report published in The Hindu on may 07.
  
Tamil Nadu CPI (M) Secretary N. Varadarajan has also called upon the Indian Central Government to evolve a strategy to ensure a lasting solution to the conflict in Sri Lanka and prevent attempts to create bitterness between India and Sri Lanka.
  
The LTTE could not be treated on par with national liberation movements in Palestine and Nepal, Mr. Varadarajan has further added.
