President leaves for G- 11 Summit  
[Thursday, May 17, 2007 - 9.00 GMT] 

President Mahinda Rajapaksa left this morning (17) for Jordan to attend the G-11 Summit comprising Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Indonesia, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Georgia, Croatia, Honduras, Paraguay and Ecuador.
  
President Rajapaksa is scheduled to address the Summit, which will focus on matters of common interest to its member countries. He is also expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the Summit.
