Terrorist blast in Fort

Seven persons, including 3 civilians were injured in an explosion near the Wimaladharma roundabout in Fort, Colombo this morning (24) around 8.45 a.m., a spokesman of the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS) said.

The attack targeted the busy traffic in the morning. The explosive device was supposed to be fixed to a motorcycle. Among the vehicles that were caught in the explosion were two vehicles carrying security forces personnel.
