President Mahinda Rajapaksa has ordered
urgent relief to civilians of Ethawetunuwewa who fled to a school in
Elikimbulagala, 10 kms away following a LTTE mortar attack on their
village yesterday (31). A soldier was killed and 5 others comprising 3
Army personnel and 2 women were injured in the attack, said the Media
Centre for National Security (MCNS).
